   What is the main difference between forged valves and cast valves?
Forging and casting are two different processing techniques.
Casting: The molten liquid metal fills the cavity and cools. Pores are prone to occur in the middle of the workpiece.
Forging: It is mainly formed by extrusion at high temperature. The crystal grains in the parts can be refined.
Forging: Use hammering and other methods to make a metal material in a plastic state into a workpiece with a certain shape and size, and change its physical properties.
Casting: The metal is heated and melted and poured into a sand mold or mold. After cooling, it solidifies into a utensil. Differences in performance During forging, the metal undergoes plastic deformation to refine grains and cut fibers continuously. Therefore, it is often used in the manufacture of pi for important parts, such as shafts and teeth.
Casting has requirements for the material to be processed. Generally, cast iron, aluminum, etc. have better casting performance. Casting does not have the many advantages of forging, but it can produce zeros with complex shapes, so it is often used in the manufacture of piping parts with low requirements for mechanical properties.
