   Knife gate valve, as its name implies, has a knife-shaped oblique cut at the bottom of the flat valve plate, which has the function of cutting off the medium, so that the valve is closed without being blocked by the medium. This valve is generally used for the opening and closing of media such as paper pulp, coal ash, chemical raw materials, sewage, and food. The pressure range is generally used within 1.6MPa, and the temperature is generally used below 120ºC. Special materials can also be used instead of high temperature.

    Features of knife gate valve:
1. Ultra-short structure length, saving materials, can greatly reduce the overall weight of the pipeline system.
2. It occupies a small effective space, can effectively support the strength of the pipeline, and can reduce the possibility of pipeline vibration.
3. The gate is made of austenitic stainless steel, which greatly improves the corrosion resistance and can effectively prevent the seal leakage caused by the corrosion of the gate.
4. The upper sealing packing adopts flexible PTFE, which is reliable in sealing, light and flexible in operation.
5. The gate has the function of a knife, which can effectively shut off all kinds of debris in the medium.
6. If the hard-sealed stainless steel material is used, and the valve disc is spray-welded, the temperature and pressure requirements of the valve can be well expanded.
